Mental Caddy

Terms of service

Last updated August 24, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and First Class Leaders for the use of Mental Caddy. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Mental Caddy

You need to be at least 13 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your sign in details to yourself and tell us at kyle@firstclassleaders.ca if you think someone else has access.

What Mental Caddy is

Mental Caddy is a golf mental performance tool. It gives you coaching cues, practice drills, round tracking and stats. It is a training aid and nothing in it is medical, psychological or financial advice. If you are dealing with a health issue, talk to a qualified professional.

AI generated coaching

Parts of the app use an AI model to write coaching content, practice plans and analysis from the information you enter. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or generic. Treat it as a prompt for your own thinking rather than instruction you have to follow, and use your own judgment on the course.

Playing safely

Use the app the way you would use any phone on a golf course. Don't use it while driving a cart, stay aware of the people around you and follow the rules and etiquette of the course you are playing. How you play is your responsibility.

Subscriptions and payment

  • Mental Caddy offers a free trial and paid monthly and yearly plans. The current price and trial length are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing you also accept Stripe's terms for the payment itself.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time from the subscription screen in the app, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • We don't give partial refunds for unused time unless the law requires it. If something has gone wrong with a charge, email us and we will look at it.
  • We may change prices. Existing subscribers get notice before a change affects them.

Your content

Your rounds, notes, photos and posts belong to you. By posting content into the community features you give us permission to store it and show it to the other users you shared it with, purely so the app can work. You confirm you have the right to post what you post.

Community rules

When you use the community, tee times or messaging, don't:

  • Harass, threaten, demean or impersonate anyone.
  • Post anything hateful, sexual, illegal or deliberately misleading.
  • Spam other golfers or use the community to advertise.
  • Collect other users' information or contact them outside the app after they have asked you not to.
  • Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or get into anyone else's account.

You can report and block other golfers from inside the app. We review reports and can remove content or suspend accounts.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or from the public page at /delete-account if you cannot sign in. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. If we close your account without cause we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Mental Caddy running but we can't promise it will be available without interruption. Features can change, and we can add, alter or retire parts of the app. If we make a material change to these terms we will update this page and move the date at the top, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.

Disclaimer and limits

Mental Caddy is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows we make no warranties about the app being accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim connected to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including consumer protection rights you have in Ontario.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
